More books for
early years and education studies as we all need similar books at the same
time which makes it impossible to access what we need and I end up having to
buy them.
Just frustration
over books and that uni students that attend Bedford campus who live in MK
can take books out from our small campus library when theirs is much bigger
and it is the one they attend.
We said: I am sorry there has been demand for similar books at similar times. As a degree student you are expected to buy a
few books for University yourself. Learning Resources does buy multiple copies
of core texts I would advise you to make use of the Reservation service to
ensure you get to borrow the core textsThe reservations service will bring you books from any Campus. http://lrweb.beds.ac.uk/libraryservices/availableservices/reserve We operate a High Demands Holds monitoring service which helps us put interventions in if the list is longer than two people eg direct them to an electronic resources, buy another copy of the item (if its available) or ask an Academic Liaison Librarian to suggest an alternative title I would advise you to use the Recommend a Resource service if you have any specific books in mind http://lrweb.beds.ac.uk/contact/recommend-a-resource You can also see the newest books in stock by checking this link http://library.beds.ac.uk/ftlist Keep an eye on the advice of the Academic Liaison Team http://lrweb.beds.ac.uk/education/using http://lrweb.beds.ac.uk/education/using/books
