Most of the small
rooms in the silent library are almost always occupied.
We said: Silent provision is only available at Bedford,
Luton and UCMK. Available space has the biggest
impact on whether more space can be made available. This is
very restricted at the moment. The new
Luton Library (opening July 2016) there are silent rooms on
levels 4, 5 & 6.
These will behind a glass wall away from the bookstock. This
should make maintaining the
silence requirement a lot easier. In addition to the silent study rooms there are quiet ICT rooms.
I would
advise you to get into the habit of booking a PC for yourself in the Quiet ICT rooms on levels 4 and 5
