As I'm at
Putteridgebury, I would like to see a better resource placed there.
The library at
Putteridgebury has quite dated material. Reserving books can be a lengthy
ordeal.
We said: Thank you for raising your concerns. In discussion with your Faculty it was established that the majority of resources for your course were available electronically so a minimal print collection was all that was required. The print collection at Putteridge has to be a self service facility but the full range of resources available throughout the University's collection is available via the reservation service. Some high demand items with long waiting lists may make the reservations process longer than desired but we have introduced a range of mediation options such as directing student to an electronic version or even buying additional copies to ameliorate waiting lists to help speed reservations up. |
