Its not a bad
service. There's ample access to books and journals and accessible from home.
Even support.
We said: Thank you for your kind words. Luton LRC the silent floors are on levels 2 &3
are patrolled by staff and are electronically monitored for noise. if you chose to work in
other areas of the LRC then noise cancelling headphones are your best option. In Luton's current building to have any silent
working it has to be on a floor with book stock. In the new library (opening in L Block
July 2016) there are silent room on levels 4, 5 & 6. These will be behind a glass
wall away from the bookstock. This should make maintaining the silence requirement a lot easier.. |
