Luton - Helpful staff & books

The staff is helpful giving better support excellent. I had a issue about the library not providing the core text books enough to the students.

Thanks for passing on your positive comments regarding Learning Resources staff support at Luton. We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know we're doing something right.  We look forward to serving you in the future.
The University of Bedfordshire is proud to stock: 4,000+ ebooks; 280,000+ books; 30,000+ ejournals; 1,200+ print journals; 80+ databases; University past examination papers since 1999; edissertations via the University repository. If you have any specific titles you would like the University to stock please talk to your Academic Liaison Librarian
In addition the University is undertaking a medium term project called readinglists (readinglists.beds.ac.uk) to change the focus and role of reading lists from just a list of citations to a more relevant and accessible document.  A reading list should tell you what you should be reading and when during your course and as far as possible making that material accessible to you.  We are working towards the latter either by obtaining in full text (the whole book or a chapter or article) and making it available on BREO or ensuring we have acceptable numbers of print copies in the library using appropriate loan statuses to try and ensure everyone on the course has the opportunity to access and use the book when they need too.
