Library tours

Students are very lost in terms of approaching the self study areas. Out dated books in the library

Thank you for telling me about your concerns. Please may I put your mind at rest. The staff on duty at the Customer Service desk on level 1 of the LRC would be delighted to give you a personal tour of the whole LRC. That way you can see the different study environments available to you: quiet, silent and social and you can see where the print books and the print journal specific to your course of study are housed. This should help you overcome and worries you have about finding your way around the building. The staff would be delighted to show off their library so please just ask for a tour.

The Library holds a huge range of print materials. The most up to date titles tend to get borrowed first so I would advise you to get to the library quickly once your assignment has been set. Otherwise you can use the Reservations service to ensure you get hold of the most up to date editions
