Luton IT Suite access

Me and 2 others had to travel to Bedford Campus from Luton due to them closing the IT Suite for 5 days including overnight for exams, so there was no computers available to do work! They could of opened it overnight & felt the staff at luton was not hlepful with this problem

Thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention. I am sorry that you couldn't find any PCs overnight at Luton LRC during the exams. Although the IT Suite has a high concentration of PCs there are over 150  PCs on the other floors of the LRC.

If staff appeared rude I am sure security were trying to manage your expectations and I can only apologise on their behalf. It takes some time to set up the IT Suite for exams and it isn't feasible to take it down and put it back up on a daily basis.

I do understand that if the IT Suite is your favourite place to study you will be disappointed to find it closed but moving to another floor in the LRC is preferable to driving to Bedford Library to find a PC

The last exam this week is today so the full ITSuite will open again at 2.30pm Wed 27 Jan but there are more exams next week so keep an eye on the information on LRWeb
