Tell Us Library Satisfaction Survey 2018: Library Environment

its contemporary design
lighting, temperature-air conditioning doesn't work most of the times,-more fresh air,
More books, working PC, printers and scanners, sources to be available on internet
equipment doesn't work or is very slow, not enough books and recourses

Thank you for your feedback. The Luton Library design like a lot of contemporary buildings, is based on a sealed building with a responsive building environment management system. It has no externally opening windows. The environment is carefully monitored and generally works well. Extremes in temperature, particularly those we have experienced recently, have led to a few occasions when our building management system had a few problems. Staff will keep records of temperatures to monitor system effectiveness and where appropriate the problem is put on the help desk.

Regarding resources there is an on-going activity with Learning Resources working closely with your department aiming to improve and expand the resource offer. This includes a review and revision of reading lists. If you have specific issues please contact your academic liaison librarian for help in identifying resources and maybe identifying new ones to add to stock.
