Referencing

I am a student at University of Bedfordshire, studying Biomedical Science Level 1.
I had a complaint that on the website under the study Hub section majority Harvard style referencing techniques are shown, as I am a in a science based faculty the journal of cell biology referencing techniques are not much elaborated.
It only shows how to cite from journals.
If it shows how to cite references from websites, books, etc it would be much useful.
I have emailed my tutors and lecturers but no reply from them.
How to do referencing hasn't been showed to us.
I have a rough idea but that was told by my PAl Leader but I don't think they were sure how to do exact referencing from internet and were not much confident in explaining exactly how to reference from a book using the journal of cell science in the correct format and order.

There is a wealth of information for you here:

The Learning Resources guide to Referencing on our web pages does use examples of Harvard, as this is the main style adopted across the University. However, you will find guidance on Referencing according to the Journal of Cell science at:

See the bold heading Division of Science at the above link which has a sample article using the format.
