Bedford - PCs on Silent floors

Please could we have move pcs on the silent study floor. Thanks

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We really appreciate customers telling us when things don't work for them. There are 22 PCs on level 2. PC use creates noise so it was a conscious decision to restrict the number of PCs on the Silent Floors. You are welcome to use your own laptop or tablet on the Silent Floors - they are noticeably quieter that desktop PCs - there are specific plug in power points available on every floor. If you cannot find any please ask staff on the Customer Service Desk (ground floor) for help. You cannot plug your device into the the University network so please use WiFi if required.

We are hoping to bring in an on-line PC booking system in 2014. This will mean that you can book a PC in advance for when you need it. Please check the LR Web News section for details in the New Year
