Many thanks for your comment. I sympathise with what you say. It would be more appropriate if you spoke to staff about this so they could do something about this on the spot. Tell Us has a guaranteed response of 2 days so waiting that long is not really effective.
Levels 2 & 3 of the Luton LRC are silent floors. No amount of talking is acceptable. Phone conversations are supposed to take place on the landing outside the lifts. If other customers are making any noise please report it to staff. There are staff patrols approx every half hour and the area is electronically monitored for noise.
A member of staff has just patrolled and has spoken to 2 students who had "forgotten" they were on a silent floor
Action is taken towards anyone who disregards the silence requirement. I hope this reassures you. Please tell staff directly if you experience any further problems (which I hope you don't).
