Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately on 24 Feb the University was experiencing problems with internet connectivity. This wasn't confined to the University as many business and domestic internet connections were experiencing problems that day.
Unfortunately as well as log ons and and printing this affected the library management system too. Staff had to manually issue items to customers hence the restriction on the number of items that could be borrowed on that day. It only affected 24.2.14
I do apologise for the inconvenience this caused you. I do agree that it isn't the standard of service we'd expect to provide. It is being looked into by the University's IT department to help avoid this happening again.
