Computers do not seem to turn on
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately on 24 Feb the University was experiencing problems with internet connectivity. This wasn't confined to the University as many business and domestic internet connections were experiencing problems that day.
Unfortunately as well as log ons this affected printing too. Mediated academic printing was offered when possible but I know the internet failure also affected staff PCs and printing too so that service was only available from time to time.
I do apologise for the inconvenience this caused you. I do agree that it isn't the standard of service we'd expect to provide. It is being looked into by the University's IT department to help avoid this happening again.
