The exhibition for February draws attention to the library’s large collection of A Very Short Introduction To…. books. This very successful non-fiction series is beautifully designed and the brightly coloured covers make a vivid display. From Chaos to Celts,  from Quakers to Quantum Theory, experts in their field are given 100 pages to sum up a lifetime’s study. The books slip into the pocket, they’re perfect for buses and trains. The display uses quotes, questions and teasers to make you want to know more. Intelligent reading for busy people.

As the display items are available for loan there cannot be a constant range of titles on view. Thank you  for your interest may I suggest that your reserve the Christanity and Judaism titles to ensure you get an opportunity to read them? The series also includes other world relgions.
