Bedford - rolling stack

I think the moving book shelves should be removed as I nearly got crushed today!!! I screamed and the lady pressed stop. It was very stressful!

Thank you for letting me know what happened today. I am sorry that you had such an alarming experience. I understand that Bedford Library staff have spoken to you and re-assured you that you could not have been seriously hurt due to the system's fail safe. I believe you have been shown her how to lock down shelving for the next time you are in.  Please remember there are instructions at the end of each stack on how to do this.
