Tell Us Library Survey 2019 - Personal responses PC Privacy

You said
Privacy when the computer is used, acces to e-books, clean area, and very reduced level of noise.

We replied
The library does not offer private PC use and does not have capacity to attempt to offer this. Open access PCs offer more discretion than they possibly look like they might. Maintaining the library environment is a partnership between students and staff. Inevitably there may be occasions when normal behaviours break down. There is a dedicated silent floor at Bedford Campus Library and several silent study rooms on levels 4, 5 & 6 at Luton Campus Library. These are protected environments and are expected to be silent.
