The rolling book stacks on the first floor (Bedford Campus
Library) are essential to my studies as they contain most of the English books.
They have been inaccessible on at least five occasions this academic year,
including two consecutive weeks in March/April. As a mature student who is only
able to access physical stock once a week (due to work and family commitments)
this is wholly unacceptable.
We replied
Thank you for voicing your concerns. We agree with you. We
have done everything in our power to get the Rolling Stack mended and in
between times the manual retrieval via staff is the best we can offer. We are
hoping that this problem has now been resolved.
