Luton Library study environment

The library is so hot in the warm weather and the study rooms are unbearable, showing 29 degrees. please can fans be provided?

(Sunday 22 April) Thank you for raising your concerns. You will agree that this weekend's temperatures were unseasonably high. None the less our building management system was experiencing a few problems with the chillers which resulted in some areas of the library becoming very uncomfortable.
Staff were keeping records of temperatures over the course of the weekend.  Students were advised to keep doors open and keep hydrated.  The problem was help desked and is being addressed.
I'm afraid fans would not help in a situation like this as they would only move hot air around.
