Luton - keyboards

want to take this opportunity to drop a complaint about the library computer desks. Every time I go to study in the library the computer desks be dirty and have food traces around it. But most importantly the keyboards and mouses be very dirty and oily which puts me off not to use the library.

I would just ask you guys to please clean the keyboards on a regularly basis. Please let me know on what happens?

Thank you for raising your complaint I sympathise with how unpleasant it is to use a dirty keyboard. The library has a cleaning programme to maintain the study environment generally and it has a code of conduct to guide customers as to what is regarded as acceptable behaviours.

This joint attempt keep the library in excellent condition - between customers, cleaners and other staff. Unfortunately there are a few customers who do not take these requirements seriously hence the deterioration in our normally high standards. This usually happens when people eat at the keyboard despite the fact that all hot and other wise messy food is not allowed on the library floors. There are sanctions in place where necessary
