Issuing DVDs

If its 24/7 why we can not issue DVD's at any time? Because there are in the boxes, without customer service we cannot issue them.

The advent of 24/7 has been a welcome improvement to accessibility for students and staff to study space.  Self Service materials & services are available 24/7 anything that requires staff intervention is not going to be available after Learning Resources staff leave. It is not possible to make all services available 24/7.
For security reasons DVDs are kept in  security cases which need to be unlocked for issuing. As this needs staff intervention you are best advised to chose your DVDs and get them issued before LR staff leave. This web page advises when staff are on duty:
