Ebooks on demand

Thanks for your positive feedback. Learning Resources has over 33,000 ebooks available on demand you can find them by searching for them as normal on the library catalogue or DISOVER they will appear with all the other ebooks and books.

On demand ebooks look like other ebooks, except that you need to click on the Preview button. Then when your preview has finished you can click on Request Access. This will automatically trigger a one week rental of the ebook, paid for by Learning Resources. When two students have requested a rental of a book it is automatically purchased, again paid for by Learning Resources.This is a great service for students because:

• you can choose the books the library buys
• these ebooks are available immediately
• you can always find a book for your topic
• you can read an ebook anywhere with an internet connection
• any number of students can read an ebook at once
• a lot of extra money is being spent on making sure you get the books you need.
