Luton - Study Environment

The library is such a joke got an exam soon can't connect to internat, and people are shouting even though there's a sign up that says silence please exams going on

can legit hear them over my music and they're other side of room

First of all I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this problem.

We take care to ensure that important matters such as this are properly managed and dealt with. The IT Suite is a social learning space and the silence request is a courtesy during exams. Its up to exam invigilators to deal with any noise that permeates the dividing screen

Levels 2 & 3 of the Luton LRC are silent floors. No amount of talking is acceptable. Phone conversations are supposed to take place on the landing outside the lifts. I appreciate that when library staff are on duty you have reported noise problems directly. During staffed hours there are staff patrols approx every half hour and the area is electronically monitored for noise.

If you require a silent study environment I would advise you to study there.

If you are trying to connect to the Wireless network please use Eduroam
