I have just received a letter stating that I have to pay to
replace a book I am not yet finished with using. I have renewed this book now
and I do not want to have to pay to replace the book as I will be returning it.
Can you please deduct the £20 from this fine?
You took the item out on 24.2.14 you renewed it twice and it was then due back 15.4.14. You have had 3 overdues since the item became overdue. It has now reached Billed Status as it is more than 5 weeks overdue hence bill of £20 being added to your account.
You cannot renew Billed items. The bill will be removed once the item is returned.
