Automatic Renewals

 You said:

I have a book, ‘Public Health Nutrition’ by Gibney that is not automatically renewing.  The reason is because it has been renewed 47 times when only 20 renewals are allowed.  Do I need to come in to renew this again?  I have a few more that are likely to hit this threshold of 20 renewals soon so it would be good to know how to manage this.

 Renewals

University of Bedfordshire operates an automatic renewals service unless the item is reserved by another customer. Your items will be renewed up to 25 times on your behalf.

• please monitor your loans for any reservation recalls (you will get an email too via the library catalogue. You will need your student ID number and your library password to access your library account.
• be sure to reserve any item currently on loan to ensure that the book you need is recalled

Digital resources on Library Website

 I am trying to access the BREO A-Z resources and I am unable to do so. Do I have to create a library account to do so.. When using the search guide I am unable to find any resources.

 On the library website (you may have linked to it from BREO?) there is an A – Z list of Resources here:

Book Loan Renewals

I have two books that are up for renewal tomorrow. The library will not allow me to renew due to the books being borrowed too many times.

 I live about an hour and am due in on Wednesday 29th September for a lecture. Would you be able to change the date to 29th so there is not a fine to pay? or could you renew them for me?

We said:

Thank you for your email. The University of Bedfordshire operates automatic renewals. Over the pandemic this was extensively extended and you have had 41 renewals. The items were borrowed 12.11.20

 There is no manual renewal facility. Automatic renewals have now been capped a 25 automatic renewals after which the item must be returned.

 The items you mention should automatically renew on 28.9.21. Please return the items as soon as possible.

Visitor membership - Aylesbury

I was passed onto yourselves, as I wanted to inquire about accessing the study space and library at the Aylesbury campus by Stoke Mandeville, using an interlibrary loan. I was wondering if this would be possible, and if so what I would be able to access?
