Bedford staplers

This is an email to highlight the current issue concerning staplers and hole punches. I would like to know why the Luton Library allows a stapler on each floor however, the bedford library we are not allowed to remove them from reception? This is rather frustrating when I have about 50/60 questionnaires and paperwork to staple. I think all students are responsible enough to be allowed a stapler/hole punch on each floor as it would make filing a lot easier. If there will be no change then please could you provide a reason as to why? Surely as a university as a whole all rules should be equal?

Thank you for your enquiry. May I clarify that Luton LRC has staplers and hole punches for use on level 1 only. Single floor access is just the same as it is at Bedford (there is the ground floor). Both these locations are close to the Customer Service desk on each Campus. Allowing these items to go to other parts of the building consistently results in them being left away from the point of enquiry with a high potential of getting lost.
These stationery items are not that expensive - may I suggest that you consider purchasing your own stapler to help you with your questionnaires.
