Reservations

 You said:

I was using the online library catalogue and I believe I reserved a book ‘immigration & asylum law’.

However, it is the first time I have reserved a book and wasn’t notified by email or etc that the book has been reserved for me. It was displaying available next to the book that I desired.

Since it is the first time I’ve used this, I don’t understand and know whether the desired book has been reserved and whether it is available for me to collect because it said that it was available at the luton library and I am a luton  campus student.

Could this please be checked for myself?

I am a medical student from the University of Cambridge, attached at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital for the remaining of January, and the whole month of February. I am staying in Wenlock Court, just off the Library building.

I was wondering if I could use the library to study when I am not in hospital. I am happy to provide all the evidence you may require.

I’m a new student based at the Aylesbury Mary Seacole building and wanted to know if there is an option to book a group study room at either the Milton Keynes or Aylesbury campus?

We said:

Thanks for your email. There are no bookable rooms available at Aylesbury or Milton Keynes campus libraries I am sorry but I cannot help you on this occasion.

I was hoping you would be able to assist me in getting a membership for the library at the Luton campus.

Although I am not a University of Bedfordshire student or alumni I am a current post graduate (LPC) student at the University of Law, London.

I have already researched as to whether my university is part of the Sconul scheme- which it is not.

Thank you for your enquiry. I regret to inform you that you are not eligible to apply for membership of University of Bedfordshire Libraries

I wanted to know if I can still use the library as an external member through SCONUL as I already have UoB library card from 2019, or do I need to reapply for a new card.
