Books Due Back

 You said:

I have a few books due back in next week. But I am having to self-isolate now due to being in contact with someone with Corona Virus. Sorry for inconvenience. Can they be re-issued to me when they are due, or what do you suggest?

We said:

Thank you for your email. I hope you have a gentle self-isolation and emerge COVID free

Your library books should automatically renew themselves unless they get reserved by someone else.

Bedford staff - praise

Just wanted to say thank you to Jo Edwards and Laura Harvey for support, advice and resources.  Also for listening to my ideas and allowing me to explore my topic.

Many thanks for your kind words.

Luton Library - ground floor PCs

Please ensure that the printer is fixed ASAP I only have an hour break so need to eat while I print off work (no food allowed on other floors) Also only 1 computer allows people to log in, please fix remaining 3. I could not print my work or sign on past 3 weeks please email me to tell me when fixed.

Thank you for raising your concerns. The printer has had its toner cartridge replenished so it is working. There has been no reports of the PCs not working on the ground floor but our IT team have checked them and they are working normally. If you log onto a PC and it seems to be taking a long time if you immediately log onto another PC the same thing will happen. You need to allow the PC to log on and if it doesn't please report it to a member of staff.
If you come into the Library to eat the ground floor is an ideal place. The alternative is to use the IT Suite in F block

Bedford Campus Library Resources

After doing the foundation degree Arts, I attended a BA induction day (08.02.20) and I popped into the library to see the wealth of resources that we could have been using (TP room) on our FDA course.

All students are encouraged to use the University's on Campus resources. Teaching Practice resources are signposted within the library, University library social media and at induction.

Bedford Teaching Practice collection

Been with UoB (Foundation degree in SEND) for 3 years. Had no idea about the resources we can borrow in the TP room. This needs to be relayed to your students.

Thank you for your kind words. Teaching Practice resources are singposted within the library, social media and at induction.
