Luton Library - cold

I'm a PhD student who frequently uses library for my research work. Whilst I'm proud to say that our university's library has amazing facilities and study areas. However, recently since weather has changed, it's very cold and seems like the heating is not being maintained according to the outside temperature. One feels like wearing heavy jackets and coats even inside the library and temperature seems very similar to outside. Could you please check this and ensure a comfortable working temperature to be
maintained in library.

Your support on this issue will be helpful for all students

Thank you for raising your concerns and I am sorry that you are finding parts of the library colder than you'd like. The library's management system is set for an ambient temperature of 19 - 23 degrees across the year. If you check the little cardboard thermometers around the library the temperature should fall between these two values if it doesn't please report it to staff on level 1 if it does fall within this range then please find a different floor to study in. We have no reported faults at the moment.
I would advise you that different part of the library are warmer than others so please vary your work station so you can find somewhere that is comfortable for you
